So in Vegas. One hell of a journey to get here from New Zealand. Okay, so I did a little bit of a round about route stopping in Fiji for 6 hours. I left Wellington on an 8am flight and arrived in Vegas at 8pm the same day, so I don't know how long that took with crossing the date line and all.

So not sure if it's the Jetlag or just Vegas, but I feel knocked sideways, looking forward to getting the car Friday and getting into a routine of getting up and doing stuff. Vegas is good and all, but any more than 3 days is too much. Coupled with the bloody cleaners. What does it take for them to not wake you up??? If I put the do not disturb sign on the door, they just phone instead!!!

Really have to recommend D.O.C.G. in the Cosmopolitan Casino. Not normally the type of place that I would go for, but it was all great food and made even better by great company, an old Uni friend and a couple of his mates. The night finished off in the Wynn Encore night club, whose name escapes me at the minute, I'll update when I remember.

Bit of a splash on the gambling tables today, threw down $100 and walked away with $137, which was perfect, $2 tip for the croupier and my laundry bill was $35, so all evens as I see it!

By the time I'm leaving Las Vegas, I'm feeling a bit broken, like I never got over or really made an attempt to get over the jetlag and also feeling incredible dried out with all the air con. Great staying and good to be going. Now onto the open road...
